Trails
One of the best ways to enjoy Boyd Lake State Park is on foot or bike. Visitors enjoy walking and biking along the paved and grassy trails beside the beaches, under cool cottonwood trees and next to the water’s edge. Boyd Lake’s trails join with the City of Loveland’s recreation trail system at the south and north ends of the park.
The park offers excellent opportunities for hiking and biking with scenic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Cross-country skiers can use the trails during the winter months.
