Boat Ramps

All boating at Jackson Gulch is wakeless. The boat ramp is going to open May 1, 2024. There is one concrete boat ramp in excellent condition on the southeast side of Jackson Gulch Reservoir at Mancos State Park. A courtesy dock will be available in the summer months, when water levels allow.
All trailered and motorized boats are required to have a pre-launch inspection for ANS (Aquatic Nuisance Species). Boat inspections are available at the park in the summer. For off season inspections please call Mancos (970) 533-7065 or the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Durango office (970) 247-0855.
The boat ramp is closed from mid-September until May. Please see park conditions for boating updates.

Cabins and Yurts

Mancos State Park’s two yurts provide visitors with an alternative to RV and tent camping. You can reserve a yurt year-round.
Yurts are reminiscent of tents used by nomads on the steppes of Mongolia and Siberia. A yurt is a round tent on a wooden frame with circular skylights and windows to provide light. The yurt’s insulated walls and propane heater/gas-log fireplace keep it warm in the cool seasons. Screened windows and ceiling fan keep it cool in the summer.
Pets are allowed for a $10 per night fee.

There are 32 campsites within two beautiful campgrounds at Mancos State Park. Several sites in the main campground are kept open year round in addition to the 2 yurts. Reservations can be made online at Colorado Parks & Wildlife Reservation.
See the Mancos camping page for more information.
