Boating
Jackson Gulch Reservoir at Mancos State Park is a great place for hand-powered crafts such as kayaks and canoes and sailboats. Jackson Gulch is a “wakeless” lake—boaters cannot create a wake here. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all boaters, please observe the Colorado Boating Statutes and Regulations, available at the park entrance.
The office at Mancos State Park provides OHV, snowmobile and boat registrations. You can call the office at (970) 533-7065.
Special boating and water restrictions apply at Mancos. Water-skiing, jet-skiing and swimming are not permitted on the reservoir. For more information, call the park office at (970) 533-7065.
