Amphitheater

The amphitheater in Cove Campground is a popular gathering area for Friday and/or Saturday programs which are usually presented from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Boat Ramps

A four-lane boat ramp is located on the west side of Jackson Lake.

Camper Services Building

In addition to vault toilets, there are camper services buildings (flush toilets and showers) located in Cove, Dunes, Pelican, Lakeside, Fox Hills, and Sandpiper Campgrounds.
NOTE: These buildings are winterized during the off-season; however, the vault toilets remain open.

Campgrounds

Jackson Lake features 251 campsites, including a group campground with 18 sites, and a group picnic area for groups of up to 50.

Dump Station

The dump station is available to our camping guests and is located between the west gate entrance and the visitor center. Water hydrants, with potable water, are also available.

Entrance Station

Entrance stations are located at the south and west entrances. The entrance stations will be staffed on weekends April through Labor Day. During the off-season, be prepared to use a debit/credit card at all of our self-serve kiosks.

Event Facilities

Jackson Lake is the perfect location for family reunions, graduations, church picnics, company meetings, beautiful outdoor weddings, or any fun group outings. Commercial and special activities may require a Special Activity Permit.

Group Campground

Dunes Group Campground is available throughout the year.
There are a total of 18 sites. Up to 6 people are allowed per campsite. Each campsite is allowed 1 hardside unit plus 1 tent or 2 tents.

Group Picnic Area

The Centennial Group Picnic area, adjacent to the Dunes Group Campground, can accommodate groups of up to 50. It is available for reservations throughout the year.

Marina

Shoreline Marina is located on the west shore of the lake. They can be reached at (970) 645-BOAT.

Picnic Sites

Individual tables are available first-come, first-served and are located at the inlet, outlet, boat ramp, south and west beaches, and the Cottonwood picnic area. View locations of picnic sites on the park map.

Showers

Trails

Jackson Lake has a hiking trail that begins at the visitor center and ends at Northview campground. The trail is approximately 1.5 miles long.
