OHV and Snowmobile Riding

​​​​​​The Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) and snowmobile staging area located in the southwest corner of the park provides parking with easy access to hundreds of miles of Grand Mesa trails via Forest Road 262 (Park Creek Road). Read more about the Grand Mesa-Uncompahgre National Forest.

Operation of OHVs in the park is permitted only in the Early Settlers Campground, Pioneer Campground parking area, and the staging area, strictly for access to and from Forest Road 262 and Grand Mesa.
