Boat Ramps

The North Boat Ramp, located adjacent to the North Shore Marina, has six launch lanes and two courtesy docks. The South Boat Ramp, located adjacent to the South Shore Marina, has six launch lanes and one courtesy dock.

Campgrounds

All sites at this park are available by reservation ONLY. Making a reservation is EASY! Anytime, day or night. Go online or call 1-800-244-5613.

All vehicles must have a valid daily or Annual Colorado State Park Pass for every day the vehicle is in the park. This fee is in addition to the camping fees.

There are three different campground areas in the park:

Arkansas Point Campground (Electric)

All sites include electrical hookups, paved parking pad, sheltered picnic table, and fire ring. Located on the south side of the park with easy access to the south boat ramp. Services include: flush restrooms with showers, playground, water faucets for fill-up only (no water hook-ups available), and dump station.

Juniper Breaks Campground (Basic-Non Electric)

All sites include paved parking pad, sheltered picnic table, and fire ring. Centrally located in the park. Services include: vault toilet facilities and water faucets for fill-up only (no water hook-ups available).

Northern Plains Campground Complex

  • Prairie Ridge, Eagle View, and Yucca Flats (Electric): All sites include electrical hookups, paved parking pad, sheltered picnic table, and fire ring. Located on the north side of the park with easy access to the north boat ramp. Services include: camper registration, park information, flush restrooms with showers (Eagle View only has vault toilet facilities), playground, water faucets for fill-up only (no water hook-ups available), and dump station.

  • Kettle Creek (Basic-Non Electric): All sites include paved parking pad, sheltered picnic table, and fire ring. Services include: vault toilet facilities and water faucets for fill-up only (no water hook-ups available).

Dump Station

There are dump stations at the entrance to Arkansas Point, Prairie Ridge, and Yucca Flats Campgrounds. They are for registered campers only.

Entrance Station

The Lake Pueblo Entrance Stations provide the visitor with park information and the opportunity to purchase annual passes or the required daily pass. When staffed by park personnel, stop and allow the staff to see your pass or purchase a pass to enter the park. If the station is not staffed and you do not have a pass, you must purchase a self-serve pass located past the station on the right side. We now accept credit cards for self-serve!

Group Picnic Area

Our pavilions are great for:

  • family reunions
  • business get-togethers
  • casual weddings
  • any large gathering of up to 100 people

Marina

Lake Pueblo has two marina concessions: The North Shore Marina and The South Shore Marina.

Picnic Sites

There are multiple picnic areas located throughout the park that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You are welcome to use those sites any day of the year from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please remember to pick up and dispose of your trash appropriately, and if you use a grill, the coals need to be cold before leaving them unattended.

Showers

There are showers in each restroom in Arkansas Point, Prairie Ridge, and Yucca Flats. They are OPEN and for registered campers only.

Visitor Center

The Lake Pueblo State Park office is located inside the park on the south side on South Marina Road.

Winter Hours: Mon.-Sun., 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Summer Hours: Mon.-Sun., 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Lake Pueblo’s Park Office offers a variety of services including:

  • OHV Registrations
  • Citation Payments
  • Park Passes
  • Hunting and Fishing Licenses
  • Camping Reservations
  • A small retail store
