Volunteer Opportunities

Chatfield State Park offers diverse volunteer opportunities including:

  • Ambassador Programs: Boat Safety, Bike, Park and Trail ambassadors provide education to visitors while implementing Leave No Trace principles. Must be 18+ years old.
  • ANS Inspection: Help protect natural resources from invasive species through visitor education and boat inspections.
  • Visitor Services: Assist with park operations, selling passes, answering phones, and providing visitor information.
  • Volunteer Host: Resident volunteers assist with campground operations and maintenance.
