At 8,100 feet with breathtaking views of Hahns Peak and the Park Range, the park beckons hikers and mountain bikers with over seven miles of trails, connecting to more in the surrounding Routt National Forest. Whatever your preference, well-deserved relaxation and recreation awaits you.

Nestled in the heart of Colorado, Steamboat Lake State Park is a true gem, catering to a diverse range of interests. Majestic Hahns Peak serves as a picturesque backdrop to this top-tier park, where families can enjoy fishing, camping, picnicking, hiking trails and boating. With a full-service marina and a sandy beach, the park also provides excellent amenities for those seeking water adventures.

Winter comes alive with snowmobiling, ice fishing, and peaceful cross-country skiing or snow-shoeing in a valley surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Ten cabins down by the Marina welcome adventurers for a cozy night.
