Volunteer Opportunities
Stagecoach State Park offers several volunteer opportunities throughout the year:
Campground Host
Camp hosts greet guests, provide information or offer other assistance to park visitors and validate reservations. Hosts clean campsites after they are vacated, perform basic landscaping duties and more.
Resident Volunteer
Assist with park maintenance, the entrance gate or park office, inspect for aquatic nuisance species, remove invasive weeds and other duties as assigned.
Customer Service Assistance
Customer service assistants answer phones; greet and assist park visitors with park and local area information, as well as campsite reservations; sell park passes, camping permits, registrations and wildlife licenses; balance shift boxes as needed; filing and other clerical tasks as needed.
Maintenance and Construction
Volunteers oversee the environmental weed control program, spray trails and picnic pads, repair and construct fences, groom the winter cross-country trails, trail maintenance, clean up park grounds and facilities, carpentry, remodeling, landscaping and complete other maintenance tasks as needed.
