Camping & Cabins
Camping at all state parks requires a reservation.
Navajo has 142 campsites, camper services buildings with showers and flush toilets, and three cabins.
- Fee information is accessible on Navajo fees page.
- A daily (or annual) parks pass is required on every motorized vehicle for each day of camping (in addition to camping fees).
Campsite reservations may be made by calling (800) 244-5613 or by reserving online.
- Camping is permitted only in designated sites.
- Showers and flush toilets are available in the camper services buildings in all three campgrounds.
- A dump station is available in the Carracas campground. It is illegal to dump waste and sewage, including dishwater, anywhere else.
- The campground is patrolled for your safety and to ensure quiet after 10:00 PM.
- Firewood is sold for the park by campground hosts who require cash payment.
- Small open fires and charcoal are permitted only in the campground fire rings and upright grills. Fires cannot be left unattended and must be fully extinguished when no longer in use.

- weather appropriate clothing
- bug spray and sunscreen
- water containers
- flashlights
- quarters for the coin-operated showers
Carracas Campground
Carracas features 41 RV sites with individual electric hook-ups, and a camper services building.
- RV sites accommodate RVs up to 55 ft. in length.
- This campground is closed in the winter.
Rosa Campground
Rosa Campground has 39 RV sites with individual electric, water, and sewer hook-ups, eight incredible tent sites and a camper services building. Check out Rosa Campground’s beautiful sites overlooking the lake.
- RV sites accommodate RVs up to 55 ft. in length.
- Campsites are open year-round, but you must be self-contained to camp in the winter months, or instead, camp in the primitive campgrounds where there is a vault toilet open year-round.
- A self-service laundry is available summer months in the Rosa Camper Services Building.
Tiffany Campground
Tiffany Campground contains 25 RV sites, most of which will accommodate RVs up to 25 ft. in length, six tent sites that overlook the lake, a shower building, and three full-service cabins.
- Campsites are open year-round, but you must be self-contained to camp in the winter months, or instead, camp in the primitive campgrounds where there is a vault toilet open year-round.
Primitive Campsites
The 20 primitive campsites at Windsurf Beach are appropriate for small RVs and tents.
- These sites are open year-round.
The 4 primitive campsites at Arboles Point are double campsites, and accommodate small RVs and tents.
- Arboles Point is open April 15 - November 30. No winter services (snow plowing, etc.) are available at Arboles Point.
No Group Camping Facilities
Arboles Point has double sites to accommodate very small groups only.
Winter Camping Information
- Carracas Campground is closed during the winter.
- The dump station in the Carracas Campground is closed during winter months.
- Snow plowing is very limited during the winter.
- The camper services buildings and small restroom buildings in all three developed campgrounds are closed during the winter (September 16-April 14). Campers should be self-contained or use the vault toilets located in the primitive campgrounds (Arboles Point is not plowed).
Cabins
Navajo State Park has three two-bedroom log cabins that are fully furnished with many of the conveniences of home, including restrooms with showers, heating in the winter, cooling in the summer, kitchen utensils, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave.
- All cabins have an outside picnic table and a fire ring with grill.

Pets are permitted in cabins 1 and 3 only, with an additional nightly pet fee.

Cabin Reservations
- Cabins can be rented by the night.
- The pet fee for cabins 1 and 3 is $10 per night.
Reservations can be made online or by phone.
