Picnicking
Mueller has 41 wooded, scenic picnic sites scattered among conifer and aspen forests. Some sites have great views of the mountains. Each site includes a table and raised grill. All picnic tables are first come first serve and uncovered.
Please note: Leashed Dogs are welcome in the developed picnic areas, but are not allowed on trails or in the backcountry.
- Preachers Hollow - ten sites, trailhead to Preachers Hollow Trail
- Outlook Ridge - ten sites, trailhead to Outlook Ridge Trail, drinking water, vault toilets
- Bootlegger - ten sites, drinking water, vault toilets, handicapped accessible table
- Lost Pond - eleven sites, drinking water, restrooms, trailhead to Lost Pond Trail, vault toilets
