Camping

Camping at all state parks now requires a reservation.

Campsite reservations can only be made by calling (800) 244-5613 or by reserving online at www.cpwshop.com.

Camping Information

Crawford offers two campgrounds with 66 individual campsites.

  • Check park map for location information.
  • See the Fees page for pricing.
  • You may contact the park to answer any questions about campgrounds or sites at (970) 921-5721. The park will not be able to make reservations for you.
  • Camping is limited to 14 days in a 28 day period.

Iron Creek Campground

Close to a boat ramp and an informative watchable wildlife kiosk, there are 45 sites (5 that are universally accessible) offering:

  • Electric and water hookups at all sites
  • Hot showers
  • Flush toilets
  • Not all sites have a shade shelter or natural shade.

A dump station is just south of the entrance station at the campground entrance.

Clear Fork Campground

There are 19 sites available for reservations. There is 1 site that is universally accessible, 5 tent-only sites, and 13 full hook-up sites, as well as 4 added picnic areas. All sites have shade shelters.

Camping Information and Rules:

  • Camping is limited to 14 days in a 28 day period.
  • Campers must have a camping reservation and a parks pass. The daily parks pass for your vehicle is available at the park entrances.
  • Please camp only in designated sites.
  • Campgrounds are patrolled for your safety and to ensure quiet after 10 p.m.
  • Please keep all pets under control and HELD or anchored on a 6-foot leash at all times.
  • Campers that have a senior citizen Aspen Leaf annual pass affixed to their windshield receive a $3 discount off the normal camping fees on Sunday-Thursday nights only (not including holidays).
