Fishing
Crawford State Park is known as a quality perch and crappie fishery. Anglers may reel in a lunker channel catfish, a dandy largemouth bass, or a nice northern pike. Because of the popularity of summer water-based motor sports, the best times to fish are early/late day, weekdays, or non-summer weekends.
Daily fishing limits are:
- Yellow perch: no limit
- Northern pike: no limit
- Crappie: limited to 20
- Catfish: limited to 10
- Bass: limited to 1 - must be at least 18” inches. Smaller Bass need to be released.
Fishing is permitted anywhere on the reservoir. Use or possession of minnows or fish for bait is prohibited.
Check the main CPW Fishing page for more information.
